Our Story
Al Perrotta is the proud owner and operator of PURE ICE. He was born in Staten Island, NY and spent most of his youth growing up in NJ until he moved to Florida in 1979. In 1985 he met his wonderful wife, and they raised their family in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He spent the last 35 years putting a badge over his heart and strapping on a bulletproof vest to protect and serve the citizens of Volusia County, Florida. He began his career as a New Smyrna Beach police officer in 1984 until he joined the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in 1989. For the following 30 years, he worked as a Patrol Deputy, Crime Suppression Team member, Patrol Sergeant, and as a 25 year SWAT team member. In 2019 he retired from law enforcement and began looking for a new direction......
Full descaling and sanitizing
We run the machine through a thorough descaling cycle; then we flush the system multiple times.
Ice bin cleaning & sanitizing
The bin is then sanitized along with the ice to remove all bacteria and slime.
